Kicheche Laikipia is a small luxury tent camp located in Mount Kenya’s shadows, providing you with an excellent view of Kenya’s highest mountain. It sits in a private conservancy with a 90,000-acre wilderness. The conservancy hosts Kenya’s largest black rhino population, elephants, cheetah, lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Here, you also view some of Africa’s rarest zebra species like the Grevy’s Zebra, Jackson’s Hartebeest, and Beisa Oryx.
Activities are galore. You can indulge in day and night game drives, nature walks, horseback rides, and safari walks. Further, you may fly in hot-air balloon safaris to catch an aerial view of the wilderness’s rich wildlife.
Its spacious tents have large verandahs for better game viewing. You can also enjoy al-fresco meals while warming the cold away beside a fireplace. Its “green” approach supplies 24-hour solar power.
