Lake Kivu is one of the Great lakes of Africa. It lies on the edge between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda, and is in the Albertine (western) Rift, a bit of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Kivu releases into the Ruzizi River, which streams southwards into Lake Tanganyika. It is the largest lake of Rwanda and sixth largest in Africa. Lake Kivu is also one of the world’s single 3 detonating lakes. The lake is located amidst the shocking loads of the Rift Valley with the Virungas towards the north, its sporadic shores structure different inlets and landmasses and a swarm of forest flanked falls. Splash terraced slopes lead down to the beaautiful lake shore and the towns of Cyangugu, Kibuye and Gisenyi, which are stopping centers to loosen up, swim or take a watercraft excursion.
The main attraction of Lake Kivu is undoubtedly, Lake Kivu itself with its great surrounding. You can spot 28 fish species in the lake. You can also visit the cities of Goma and Bukavu which are urban communities on the shores of the lake. The main attraction of Lake Kivu is undoubtedly, Lake Kivu itself with its great surrounding.
