After breakfast, you’ll transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi (self-booking). Our representative and the driver-guide will meet you and drive to the Rift Valley’s floor upon your arrival.

You’ll stop to view the Great Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. We ensure that you arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. After breakfast, you’ll depart Lake Nakuru and drive to the Aberdares area. You’ll have lunch at the Aberdares Country Club and complete check-in formalities. In the afternoon, you’ll leave your luggage at the hotel and continue by lodge vehicle with just your overnight bags to The Ark. The Ark is one of the most famous tree hotels deep in the Aberdares Forest. On your journey to the lodge, you may see typical forest dwellers, such as the black and white monkeys.

The floodlit watering hole is the day’s unique feature. You can watch various animals come down to drink it from the lodge throughout the night. Different animal species like the shy rhinos are more active during the night than the day. It’s fascinating to watch their behavior as they take turns drinking from the watering hole and eating the salt at the salt lick.

You enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kenya’s jagged outline in the morning and excellent bird watching from the lodge’s terrace into the surrounding trees. Dinner and an overnight stay are available at The Ark Lodge.

After breakfast, drive a little further north across the Equator. You head to Ol Pajeta Conservancy, famous for its Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This special 23,000-acre wildlife sanctuary was originally established to protect and breed highly endangered black rhinos. In 1994, the Jane Good all Institute established the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary within the game reserve and relocated many chimps here from the unstable native West African habitats.

You’ll go for the afternoon game drive in the reserve and tour the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. During your evening game drive, you’ll have an opportunity to visit the sanctuary as you view other wildlife. Impalas, gazelles, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, and many other birds, like pelicans, eagles, and plovers, are available for your watching. You will also visit the resident tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre. Lastly, you return to the Sweetwaters Tented Camp for dinner and sleep.

Your visit to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve exposes you to exceptional lion populations, leopards, and cheetahs. You can also enjoy the Great Migration from July to October. Dinner and overnight stay are available at the Mara Serena Lodge.
