The first light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura Wake at 0600a.m have breakfast and later drive to RDB offices in Kinigi. At 0700 am you will gather at the park headquarters together with tracking gears for briefing before heading in the forest to track the gorillas. This may take 2-8 hours depending on the movements of the Gorillas. Tracking the gorillas through the unique vegetation can take several hours of challenging walking in wet and muddy conditions. To see a gorilla, the trek will have been worth the hardship Later in the afternoon if time allows, visit either Ibyiwacyu Culture village or Twin lates of Burera and Ruhondo. Overnight at Amakoro lodge (High End or Mt Gorilla View lodge (Mind range)

At 0700 am you will gather at the park headquarters together with tracking gears for briefing before heading in the forest to track these Golden Monkeys. Later after trekking you will go back to the lodge to freshen up for a road trip back to Kigali depending on your outbound flight transferred to Kigali International airport.
